This 10 days wilderness safari offers the experience to explore some of the best national parks and reserves of northern Tanzania.
After breakfast you will set out for the stunning and African postcard landscape of West Kilimanjaro. This area is renowned for its large population of the semi-nomadic people, the Masai, thorny acacia trees, and its unforgettable bull elephants. to Serengeti, home of the great annual migration, to the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world, this safari allows you to experience the real Africa. Also, visit Lake Manyara National Park and spot their famous tree-climbing lions.
Tarangire National Park:
This baobab laced park hosts the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem – a smorgasbord for predators – and the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as the stately fringe-eared oryx are often observed. Lunch is taken at picnic location in the park. Watch over an evergreen swamp filled with elephants as you enjoy a delightful bush cuisine.
For the more ardent bird-lovers might keep an eye open for screeching flocks of the dazzlingly colorful yellow-collared lovebird, and the somewhat drabber rufous-tailed weaver and ashy starling – all endemic to the dry savannah of north-central Tanzania.
